As a Master Faux Finisher and Interior Designer, I have been working in the design industry for 28 years and have loved every minute of it.
I studied abroad in Italy the “Old Masters” way of faux finishing and perfected my artistic craft throughout the U.S. with many well known and respected teachers and artists.
My passion for the art of design and decorative finishing drives me to continually search for and studying new products, tools and methods to keep my finishes on the cutting edge of new, high end and unique one-of-a-kind looks. My artwork can be found residentially and commercially throughout the U.S.
Lately, I have been diving into the painted furniture world with much fervor. The satisfaction of bringing life back to old furniture is a true transformation and what I like to call, “Functional Art™".
My work has been featured in Profiles (a faux finishing magazine), The Greenville News, The Anderson Independent as well as certain television shows such as; Paint! Paint! Paint!, The Peggy Denny Show and Your Carolina with Jack and Kimberly.
Southern Yankee Designs is also an Iron Orchid Designs (IOD) retailer and currently searching for a paint brand to carry in my retail space located in the beautiful Upstate of South Carolina.
